Terms of service

1. Who you're contracting with
These terms govern services provided by Mohammad Al Sayed ("I", "me"), an independent AI systems builder based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, to you or the business you represent ("you", "the client"). The specific scope, price, and timeline of any engagement are set out in a separate statement of work or service agreement, which takes precedence over these terms where they differ.
2. Engagements and scope
Fixed-price builds (such as the Quick Win Build and AI Build Sprint) cover the scope named in the statement of work. Work outside that scope is a new engagement, agreed in writing before it begins. Monthly retainers cover the services described for that tier and continue until either party gives notice as set out below.
3. Fees and payment
Prices are quoted in US dollars and are charged through a third-party payment provider (Ziina), which processes your card and handles any currency conversion. Fixed-price work is payable up front unless agreed otherwise. Retainers are billed monthly in advance, carry a minimum term as stated for the tier, and then continue month to month with 30 days' written notice to end.
4. Intellectual property
On full payment for an engagement, ownership of the deliverables built specifically for you transfers to you. I retain ownership of pre-existing tools, libraries, and general methods used to build them, and may reuse that general know-how on other engagements. I will not reuse your confidential data or anything proprietary to your business.
5. Confidentiality
I keep your non-public information confidential and use it only to deliver the engagement. A separate non-disclosure agreement can be signed on request. Any case study I publish is anonymized unless you give written permission to be named.
6. Warranties and liability
I deliver work with reasonable skill and care. AI systems are probabilistic and depend on third-party model providers; I do not warrant that any system will be error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by law, my total liability for any engagement is limited to the fees you paid for that engagement. I am not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Disputes that cannot be resolved amicably will be handled in the appropriate courts of Dubai, unless the statement of work specifies arbitration.
